Ross Newnham Ross Newnham has been practising as a Patent Attorney in New Zealand for over 30 years. He is also a Registered Australian Patent Attorney. He has extensive experience in all intellectual property (IP) areas including litigation support. Ross acts for clients in respect of all their Patents, Trademarks, Design Registrations, Copyright and related IP matters. Consequently he has a close understanding of his clients IP and related business requirements. Newnham & Co concentrates on providing practical advice and a personal service to their clients. In achieving this Colleen Tilson has been Ross's "right hand " for several years. Colleen has qualified in Trade Marks and has passed the New Zealand Patent, Design and Copyright law papers on her way to becoming a Registered Patent Attorney. Ross has a background in mechanical and electrical engineering from the Royal New Zealand Navy including training in the UK. He also worked for "Westinghouse Brake & Signal" in the UK as well as the General Electrical Company and the Dept. of Scientific and Industrial Research in New Zealand. He is a keen golfer.
